Edinburgh Rugby, who have qualified for only their third European Cup quarter-final after topping Heineken Champions Cup Pool 5, will provide all but one of Scotland’s forwards for their Calcutta Cup trip to England on Saturday.
With Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend recalling lock Ben Toolis and flanker Hamish Watson for the Six Nations Championship finale at Twickenham, only Exeter Chiefs flanker Sam Skinner does not hail from the capital club.
Townsend has retained the all-Edinburgh front row of props Allan Dell and Willem Nel plus captain and hooker Stuart McInally, while Toolis will pack down with clubmate Grant Gilchrist in the second row.
Then, giving Edinburgh an added boost before their Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final against Munster Rugby at BT Murrayfield on March 30, Watson will have No.8 Magnus Bradbury alongside him in the back row.

In the Scotland backs, Edinburgh wing Darcy Graham keeps his place after his try against Wales last weekend, while Glasgow Warriors boast three players, with Sam Johnson returning to team up with Nick Grigg in the centre and scrum-half Ali Price retaining the No.9 jersey.
They have a Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final on March 30 at Saracens, whose utility back – Sean Maitland – is recalled at full-back on Saturday, after Edinburgh’s Blair Kinghorn was injured against Wales last weekend.
Maitland will face four of his clubmates at Twickenham at the weekend in England fly-half Owen Farrell, hooker Jamie George, lock George Kruis and No.8 Billy Vunipola.
