Watch Greta star Isabelle Huppert shadily rate iconic table-flipping scenes

Isabelle Huppert has no time for half-assed antics when it comes to murdering stuffed animals or tossing furniture across a room. So, in the spirit of her new Neil Jordan-directed stalker thriller Greta — which sees the French cinema icon playing a sadistic widow with a penchant for flipping tables while sipping chablis and wearing Chanel suits — EW asked the 65-year-old to watch and rate similar scenes from pop culture history on a scale from one to five. And the results are, in true Huppert fashion, shadily hilarious.

Wholly unimpressed, Huppert first watches a scene from Titanic featuring Billy Zane toppling a breakfast table in front of Kate Winslet. She dubs the moment “not really convincing” and swiftly rates it a “zero” before motioning for the “next one.”

30 Rock‘s Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) — who upends a conference table when she can’t find her macaroni and cheese — however, fares well: “Better. She’s a woman,” Huppert says. “Two.”

Huppert then sits emotionless and blank-faced through the most famous (and meme’d) table-flipping moment in reality TV history, which sees The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice knocking over a table during a conflict with fellow cast member Danielle Staub.

The actress has no reaction when Giudice calls Staub a “prostitution whore,” but deems the clip “not too bad” while slapping it with a rating of three.

Next, Nicolas Cage’s famous Moonstruck table flip registers as “very poor” in Huppert’s eyes; Finally, she brushes off a similar maneuver performed by Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction.

“Now, go see table-flipping in Greta,” Huppert finishes. “[It’s] a lot better.”

Huppert previously told EW she had “fun” playing a psychopath who lures a young woman (Chloë Grace Moretz) into a sadistic web of violence in Greta — to the point where her table-flipping scene felt “quite normal, actually.”

“Not that I’m flipping tables all the time…” She continued with a pause. “So far, no. But I’ll think about it.”

Greta is now playing in theaters nationwide. Watch Huppert rate some of the best table-flipping scenes in pop culture history above.
